Gold Coast businesses will be betting on some good luck when they attend the corporate Gala Ball event of the year at the Gold Coast Arts Centre on Friday, 30th October.

The annual Black Tie Gala Ball will host 200 Gold Coast business people all spinning the roulette wheel and laying down chips with aim of raising $15,000 for the local community.

Gala Ball organiser, Rebecca Plant said the event provides the opportunity for Gold Coast businesses to come together, celebrate and have a flutter in aid of charity.

“This year’s Gala Ball will be a fun, glamorous night for Gold Coast Businesses, with great food, wine and a fully functional fun casino,” said Ms Plant.

“All money raised on the night will go to support the building of Hoyer House, which is a facility for the Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth.

“Last year’s event raised around $15,000.  This year, we’ve teamed up with McLaughlins Lawyers to create the event and we’ll be looking to hit that number again,” she said.

“Tickets have sold very fast, but there are some still available for businesses who want to network, have a great night and support the local community,” she said.

The Gala Ball will feature TV personality, Jess Skarratt as MC and will feature former X Factor finalists ‘SoulCutz’.  It is sponsored by Lead a Better Business and McLaughlin’s Lawyers.

The Gala Ball will take place at The Arts Centre from 7pm. Tickets are $160 per person.  Sponsorship opportunities are still available.

Rebecca Plant and Ed Plant also run The Business League and Lead a Better Business.
