Associate, Commercial and Property Division.

 

Svetlana Milic is a lawyer in the Commercial Division.  She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2007 and has been with McLaughlins since July 2008.

 

Since Svetlana’s admission she has obtained substantial experience in the areas of Commercial law, Property law as well as Estate and Will matters including:-

• Business sales and acquisitions including contract preparation as well as negotiation and obtaining all associated licences;

 

• Commercial property sales and acquisitions in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast including contract preparation and negotiation including shopping centres;

 

• Queensland and New South Wales residential subdivisions including preparation of all necessary documentation to effect registration;

 

• Commercial and retail shop leasing;

 

• Body Corporate matters including layered schemes;

 

• Corporate structuring and advising on corporate affairs;

 

• Will drafting including testamentary trusts and estate planning; and

 

• Estate administration.

 

Svetlana has also had experience in commercial and estate litigation.

 

Svetlana works closely with Senior Associate Gayna Marlow to provide timely and cost effective advice to the firm's corporate and private clients and is also fluent in Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian languages.
